Kim Breit Art
Hand-cut 3D botanical paper sculptures in shadow boxes from Pittsburgh
About Kim Breit Art
Kim Breit is a Pittsburgh artist who builds three-dimensional paper sculptures on environmental themes. She draws on a library of botanical, animal and insect images, hand-cuts each element with scissors and a craft knife, and layers them on a recycled cardboard armature. Finished pieces are mounted and framed in shadow boxes behind museum glass.
