Remark Glass
Hand-blown barware and lighting made from recycled bottles in South Philly
About Remark Glass
Remark Glass is a small hot-glass studio that collects discarded wine, beer and champagne bottles and jars and reheats them for glassblowing. It was co-founded in 2016 by Tyler School of Art alumni Danielle Ruttenberg and Mark Ellis together with artist Rebecca Davies. The studio works in the Bok Building in South Philadelphia, aims for zero waste, and makes tableware, barware, serving bowls and chandeliers, including custom lighting for restaurants.
