Cottage Glassworks
Nature-inspired fused glass art and classes on the PA Route 6 Artisan Trail
About Cottage Glassworks
Kathleen Schnell started in stained glass and took up kiln-fused glass in 2002, and has worked in glass for about four decades. She shapes vines, leaves and birds from glass pulled from the kiln (vitrograph) and makes platters, bowls and other fused pieces using dichroic, iridescent and patterned glass. Her studio west of Wellsboro opened in 2015 and is on the Route 6 Artisan Trail. Visits are by appointment, and she teaches classes there.
