The Lion Potter
Husband-and-wife pottery studio and farm stand near Little Round Top
About The Lion Potter
David and Junko Young have run The Lion Potter in Gettysburg since 2003, pairing a pottery studio with a seasonal farm stand. David mostly throws on the wheel, with influences from Japanese and African ceramics. Junko handbuilds teapots and slab work and etches animal designs onto some of his pieces. Their functional ware uses lead-free glazes and is made for everyday use, and the shop sells pottery all year.
