About Studio SPONG
Keunho Park makes sculptural wood furniture with lifelike, organic forms drawn from the human body, animals and fictional characters. He developed a segmented carving method that lets him work at larger scales, then adds carved textures and color to the surfaces. His Piggyback Chair appeared in the Wayne Art Center's InGrained exhibition of Pennsylvania wood artists.
