MVP Studio
Nerikomi tableware and lighting with agate-like layered clay patterns
About MVP Studio
Mackenzie Pikaart makes ceramics under the name MVP Studio in Philadelphia. Most of her work uses nerikomi, a Japanese method of stacking and slicing tinted clays so the pattern runs through the whole piece and gives an agate-like surface. She makes bowls, plates, serving pieces, vases and lighting.
