Fuugs
Furniture built from salvaged Philadelphia trees in a Kensington shop
About Fuugs
Fuugs is a two-person furniture company in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood, run by the sculptors and Tyler School of Art alumni Greg Fuguet and Kristen Snow since 2016. They salvage fallen and damaged city trees, including timber from Awbury Arboretum, then mill and dry the wood themselves before building furniture to order. Alongside chairs, tables, benches and stools they make smaller pieces such as rolling pins, serving boards and candle holders.
